Derek Paravicini is a talented young pianist with such a back-story, you would imagine he was actually some epic movie's protagonist. But he's definately the real deal: blind and autistic. I really have alot to say about this amazing musician, but I want you guys to just listen for yourself, take it out of the "impaired artist" context for a minute and just enjoy.

Pretty chill video, I liked the mish-mash combination of cameos, all different lanes of the hip hop and rap culture from Run's first son to 106 & Park's newest poster boy to one half of Sa-Ra to someone who's only technically American, Kardinal Official of Canada. And the sparse visual elements other than people looked like possible gallery pieces, they enhanced but did not distract from the overall look of this b/w vid. I liked it a lot.

As you all may or may not know, I love creativity to the nth degree and have so my entire life, but I am of Nigerian descent in America and the first child of six. With that said it makes sense that I would panic to find out that my heart no longer viewed Engineering and Art equally, Art has won by a near shutout...but almost too far into the game...

You see, for the last few years of my short life, I was convinced that I was going to be an engineer of some kind because I loved creating thinks and watching them work but now I think that I was just lying to myself more or less because it's what my parents would love to hear. I've been in technology-focused education for as long as I can remember and even took robotics classes during summer breaks. I swore up and down to my parents that I would end up at one BLANK Institute of Technology or another BLANK Tech. But now, thanks to my experiences at my Science and Technology Internship Program at UMDC P, I realized that i was only in love with the creating part and not the work and theory behind it. Don't get me wrong, Engineering as a topic is still up there to me and will always have a place in my imagination, but I just plain love art and design more.

The question is not how to prepare for getting this sort of education, just how I break it to my parents who've seen all the engineering schools filling up my mailbox with admissions forms and have started calling me 'Engineer Chuk" already. I have to prove to them that I can still attain a good level of capitalistic security in my chosen path, after all, they just want the best for me.

Hello to you all out there in the internets, it's me, Chuk. I want to let you guys in on some info about things on our side so just sit back and drink it all in...

One:In a little bit, this blog will become one of two places to satiate you're need and greed for all things etcetera. The other will be our website. More on this later...

B:Emmanuel and I are in this thing called twelfth grade and take these things called AP and Internship classes so things will be a little hectic until the time that our highly unorganized school can get a handle of itself. Because of this, update and the like will be sporadic and boring at best so check in every day at your own risk!

III:Late Winter is when we're releasing Season Zero (God willing...)
It'll be a nice cross section of alot of the bases we intend to cover, but wont serve as a limit to what we can do in the future.

Last:We have some cool ish lined up for our blog and site from features to interviews and if you all (yes, all three of you) can bear with us, you wont be dissapointed.

P.S. Can't get DANCE out of my friggin head. Props to Ed Banger Records, all of their songs are such, well, bangers!

Kanye x Little Wayne x Barry Bonds?

This song is ok on the ears as far as the beat goes, im gonna have to let Notts grow on me production-wise. But whats up with Little "Song" W(hore)ayne's lukewarm verse? and the hook? this one wasnt really out of the park, more like a bunt that somehow made it past the infielders...

Kanye shows his chops well but never really gets into the subject matter. Yes, Kanye, you were an underdog and deserve to gloat and all but please, just flow about the chosen subject a teensy bit more next time. And dont get me started on Wayne, he just does some annoying ice-rap and a little seemingly-subliminal shot at 50 here and there.

Neither was needed cause:
1. We get it
2.are you supposed to be better than Jay, but you're going at 50?
C. Go away, or be consistent with your level of lyricism
IV. We get it!! Just take a break or something...

Wow...this song is just beastly! The lyrics and video I've yet to figure out completely, but they along with the great music are all perfect together. And for those who were roughly my age and above during the 90s, dont bite my born-in-1990 head off for being so late. I really didn't listen to music when I was younger unless it was on the videogame I was playing--okay I think I'm rapping (read: rambling) so now on to the video!

P.S. Someone PLEASE help me understand the full meaning of the lyrics and video cuz it seems like my spirit already knows but can't verbalize it.

P.P.S It seems there is a more literal and twisted version of this video but it not on the Tube, so if anyone out there can, help me out in tracking the other version down. Thanks!
